WOW!!! Great AAC Funding Site

Image of Key
If you have ever tried to obtain funding for an AAC device, you know what a frustrating process it can be. First, you have to try to find the source of funding, and then each source of funding has different requirements, and if you forget to dot an I or cross a T, then you get REJECTED!

(OK, it might not be quite that dramatic, but when you're in the middle of applying for funding, it can feel that way.)

AAC Funding Help is a website that I ran across that was developed by a familiar name in the AT world - Mr. Lewis Golinker. Many of you know Mr. Golinker's name - he's been a tireless advocate for people with disabilities for many years. He started the Assistive Technology Law Center in Ithaca, New York, and now provides us with this incredible resource.

Not only does provide information about funding sources, but also a link to a report coach to help you in the formation of your letters to various funding sources.

Wow, wow, wow! You can visit the AAC Funding Help website by clicking here.
